Thursday, 1st October 2015 – Students were given the chance to get to know the game called Ultimate which is commonly known as Frisbee when the Sports and Culture Executive of KMC invited Mr. Douglas and his team to teach them about it. The workshop was divided into two sessions. The first session was held at Astaka from 5:00pm to 7:00pm where students were taught to master the techniques of throwing the disc and how to catch the flying disc. Students were told the rules of the actual game before given the opportunity to play it. The second session was held in the night at DKB2 where Mr. Douglas and his team shared their experience of playing ultimate with the students, played some professional ultimate game’s video and gave motivation to the students. Mr Douglas and his team were presented tokens of appreciation. The second session ended at about 11 in the night.
